Towards a Circular Economy Roadmap for the Laurentians
The Regional Circular Economy Strategy is a regional consultation process aimed at establishing priorities to accelerate the transition to the circular economy in the Laurentians.
The goals :
- Create a portrait of the circular economy in the Laurentians and develop a roadmap to propose concrete solutions to be implemented;
- Encourage the commitment of organizations in the transition to the circular economy;
- Improve common understanding of the circular economy;
- Engage stakeholders in carrying out concrete actions to accelerate the Laurentians’ transition to the circular economy.
The project in 3 steps
To achieve the objectives, 3 steps will be put in place:establish a portrait of the circular economy in the Laurentians (March 2024), develop an action plan (June 2024) and implement concrete actions (September 2024 to December 2025).

How to participate.
The participation of the business ecosystem of the Laurentides region is essential to develop a relevant approach. Here are ways to contribute:
- For the portrait stage, a survey was available from January 15 to February 2, 2024. Thank you for your participation, more than 200 people responded!
- Subscribe to our newsletter to be informed of the progress of the project and its solutions
- Contact us for any feedback or suggestions regarding the project.
- Take part in a workshop on the theme of “Circularizing the economy of the Laurentians”.
- Four themes: reuse, tourism, the manufacturing sector and startups. Take part in one of the 4 workshops in April under the theme of “Circularizing the economy of the Laurentians”.
- A common objective: to co-create solutions that could be included in the circular economy roadmap.
